The 2020 Netherwood Pinot Noir has a lovely clarity about it, although it resides on a slightly different part of the fruit spectrum than was perhaps expected, with mulberry, cassis, blackberry and even hints of blueberry. It is altogether dark. It’s from the 4.5-hectare Netherwood Vineyard planted in 1986 on mudstone and sandstone.
